Chip and Pepper Jeans at Costco?

Wow! Imagine That! The crew over at TheDenimBlog.com tipped us off that Costco is now carrying some designer denim….7 for All Mankind, Rock & Republic, Diesel, Citizens of Humanity, and Paige Premium Denim and others. I decided to take a look and see if the online Costco had any Chip and Pepper Jeans.
And they do! Costco has Stella Bootcut in Oak wash for 119.99. That’s not bad…seems like those are about $150 elsewhere. But it looks like all that’s available is 32 waist.
‘Course that’s the online Costco. Here in a couple days JeansJeannie has to visit the local store and pick-up a case of Paul Masson, the Gilmore Girls boxset and a trampoline (don’t ask)…I’ll check and see if the in-store selection of Chip and Pepper Jeans is any better.

Chip and Pepper Jeans at LabelSpree

JeansJeannie has been checking out LabelSpree for Chip and Pepper Jeans.

First the bad news…the sizes and selection is pretty skimpy. For example, the Syd Skinny in Wheeler (which I crave) is only available in a 28. The rest of us are out of luck.

Now the good news…the prices are fantastic! These Syd Skinnys are retail $198…LabelSpree has them for $137 with Free Shipping. That’s Excellent! Plus they take returns with full money back.

Similar discounts on all their Chip and Pepper Jeans it looks like…they have a better selection of Pamela Straight Leg in Light Service and they’re only $129 instead of the $187 retail. Stella Straight Leg in Maple is retail price $143 but LabelSpree has it for $99…sadly only in 25 or 29 waist.

I always like finding a great price, and never waste a chance to buy below retail. Someone once said…”The best looking jeans pocket is the one with some cash in it” I agree! LabelSpree

Chip and Pepper Visit with Neiman Marcus

The men behind Chip and Pepper Jeans took some time to visit with NM InSite the other day.

“Least favorite trend of all time: Shoulder pads! Ladies, it is not a good idea to look like linebackers. If we liked that look, we would have stayed in Canada and dated female hockey players!”

JeansJeannie is sad to find she is not among the five guests at the guys dream dinner!

Chip and Pepper Jeans on eBay – Stella

JeansJeannie loves eBay. Its amazing what things turn-up and the prices can’t be beat. Seems everytime I look there is a good selection of Chip & Pepper Jeans being offered and usually much less than retail.

Some things to keep in mind when buying designer denim off eBay. Number one, deal with the established eBay dealers with solid feedback. There are plenty of knock-offs and fakes floating around on eBay. Actually check the feedback for the dealer and see if any red flags pop up. Oh, and look for a money-back gaurantee.

It’s a good idea to buy the brands you are familiar with and that you’re sure of your size. I think its always preferable to buy your first pair of Chip and Pepper Jeans from a shop. That way you can try them on and find out which style and size works best for you. Once you’re good with your own fit you can safely buy off eBay or any of the online dealers.

Here’s a look at some of the Chip and Pepper Stella Jeans currently listed on eBay.

Stuffin for the Muffin

JeansJeannie is big time lovin’ the new Stuffin for the Muffin in Lynn Lake from Chip and Pepper.  Especially like the high-rise waist which slims just where its needed…with the holidays coming up there’s going to be an extra 5 pounds to deal with. And a great flare to the leg.  Yes, lovin the stuffin!
